{"replyTo":"","text":"All my kids are grown except one, he is 16 and at the \"I don't want to be around mom\" phase. My middle son, who is now 20, rode with me for 5 months, he liked it. But now it's time for him to be a grown up, get a job etc etc So I'm back to being alone, which I rather enjoy. I do have to say, I have missed every birthday this year and every holiday since i started truckin. We celebrate the birthdays while I'm home and the holidays haven't matter much yet. Thanksgiving I'll miss but be home that weekend, so we will do dinner then and Christmas I will be home for. My boss is real big on home time for those holidays. I try to do as much as i can with my kids when I'm home, but it's a lot to get done in 34 to 48 hours home. So time management is a pain for me. Also, I'm a single mom so I don't have a spouse or s/o to do my errands for me while I'm out on road. So I have to do everything when I get in. If your company allows it, and they are old enough, bring them with you during breaks, set aside time just for them when you do go home. Even with my kids being mostly adults, I still take the time, even if it's just all of us getting together and eating dinner. It helps to maintain the relationship and let them know, they are still your #1 and the reason you're out here is to provide for them.","replyToPid":0}

I went back home just to find another man in the house. I dragged that mf all over the yard. lets just say ive stayed on the road more often than what I was use to.","replyToPid":0}
