Most truck drivers are curious about hotshots and think that hotshots are getting away with something.\nIn reality hotshots are regulated exactly the same as 18 wheelers. Most hotshot drivers have a Class A CDL . They are an enterprising bunch because many of them operate under their own authority and in addition to driving, they run the whole business end of a trucking company. Insurance, IFTA, Filing reports and taxes, finding loads etc; not to mention truck and trailer maintenance.\nHotshots are capable of hauling some serious loads, a few loads I hauled looked so outrageous it was hard to believe that they were actually legal. \nWhen I bought my Kenworth, I hauled it home with my hotshot ...\n","replyToPid":0}
