{"replyTo":"","text":"Don’t listen to the naysayers. I’ve been an O/O since 2002. A few observations. The ones who say it can’t be done, or they sold their truck and drive for someone else, etc most generally weren’t very smart. You can’t drive fast, overspend, or be lazy and survive. Buy a good used truck and never work by the mile. Own your own trailer. Work for a percentage company that takes no more than 10%. You don’t need a $50000 pickup. But you do need to put 5% of every paycheque into a separate account for emergencies. Get a good transportation based accountant. Get LTL every chance you can. Drive 65 or less at all times. Just my $.02","replyToPid":0} |
