I know for me, as soon as your headlights aren’t visible in my hood mirror, I know there’s plenty of following distance between us for me merge. And take your time. It’s not about getting there early, it’s about getting there safely. Schneider does a pretty good job of ongoing training, even for experienced drivers. {"replyTo":"","text":"always stay alert on your loads and wht dispatcher say . basically dispatcher wants you to do everything yourself and they think everything is self explanatory.  \ntoday i was told to go to pick up the loaded trailer from this yard but it was brought in by another driver from somewhere else . that driver arrived after 4 hours we arrived . so we sat their waited since dispatcher said we will let you know when your trailer arrive . But, trailer arrived and been there for 1 hour and dispatcher didn't tell us . \nwe asked them why ? they told us you should have got out of truck and looked around in the yard after they dropped the trailer . so in other words look out for your own self.  and CYA (cover your ass ). document everything through qualcom or whatever eld you have.  let them tell your all the instruction through messages rather talking on phone.  \nall these starter companies you gotta CYA because , they will blame back at you even if it wasn't your fault 😀 . other than that have fun on road . take pictures make notes of places you visit . and stay away from truck stop food . you will live longer 🤣","replyToPid":0}
