When your engine increases beyond it's idle speed the ECU stops sending fuel to the cylinders as it is not required. Your kinetic energy is being used to overcome the friction in the engine (and power accesories etc...so how is it wasting fuel? You’re slowing down not accelerating. Just because the engine is making more noise doesn’t mean it’s burning fuel...it only means the exhaust valves have closed in the head. 👍","replyToPid":0}
