{"replyTo":"","text":"One of The scariest driving stories I have is I had just made it out of NYC and my gps said “in half a mile, bear left” I was looking but I couldn’t see it. It’s a very scary situation to know there’s a bear nearby but you can’t see it😉😂. \nNow all kidding aside I have a true paranormal experience that happened to me while I was stationed in Germany. I had been drinking with a bunch of my buddies and felt it was time to go. I looked everywhere for my keys but I couldn’t find them. I thought maybe I had left them in the car. I checked the car-nothing. Knowing I had a spare set of keys at home I started walking home. I was in Baden-Sollingen and I was walking to my apt in Weitenung it’s about 10kms. The time was approx 02:00::00 the town was asleep, dead quiet, not a soul around. As I staggered along the road I stumbled a few times, and realized how pissed drunk I was and it was a blessing I couldn’t find my keys. As I said there was not a soul in sight, I turned a corner and took maybe 4 steps, out of nowhere a small red Opel drove around the corner from behind me, pulled over to the side of the street, rolled down the passenger window. A woman with a very heavy German accent said (in English) “Do you need a ride”? I very eagerly accepted the ride. As we drove we made small talk and I tried to think how did she know I was English. We got to the(shared)parking lot of the apt building I lived in, I had not mentioned where I was headed. She pulled in and parked right in front of my building, she pointed to the building beside my building and said I am going to visit my friend in that building. I thanked her for the ride and offered to give her some money but she refused. I had prepared for this situation, during the ride I had opened the passenger window just a crack, I ran up the 2 flights of stairs to my apt, I had a box of greeting cards for special occasions. I grabbed a card that simply read “Danke” (thank you) As I walked out to the parking lot I placed 20 Deutsch Marks in the card slipped the card into an envelope. My plan was to slip it into the window. When I got to the spot where the car was parked, the spot was empty, it had taken me less than a minute to return to where she had parked, but the car was gone. I returned to my apartment. I pulled a chair up to the window, I waited and watched the rest of the early morning the car never returned. I canvassed everyone in that building to find out who the lady was no one knew who I was talking about. ","replyToPid":0} |
