How would u guys secure this load of flat steel? Chains and straps? Just chains or just straps? (5 bundles.... 48k lbs)

I was told that using chains on this load will damage the freight and this type of flat steel is easier to slide through the chains than it is the straps..... Load is already delivered and never shifted at all..... I saw other drivers that do not work for my company with the  exact same securement as well.... Also I was told that using chains will bunch the steel up together in more of a round shape than keeping it flat which will most likely cause some of the pieces of steel to walk out.... I don't make the rules I'm just doing as I was taught ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyToPid":0,"replyTo":"","text":"it's 48k(10 straps, minimum=50k securement)\n53' trailer 18 pnts to secure a load..\n11 straps:\n4 belly (2each bundle/frnt-rear)\npull right to left/left to right\n2 straps at each ends over top...space the remainder through out the load...crank the hell outta'em\nI always use least 2-3 over...ain't no shame in over securement...\nI'm sure, the writing may sound odd...but if your a flatbed operator...I'm sure you can figure out how I'm saying I'd secure it..\ntighten down until you can pick the strap like a guitar sting...and sounds like a tuned string\nI can't get a video of a load I've had to show you what I mean by, guitar sting sound\nzig-zag your top strapping, if possible..one left/right, next opposite right/left...by doing this it's an even securement along the load"}
