U can pull a reefer for 30 years but if u join a company that only does low bed work then ur not gonna make top dollar. U have to gain the company’s trust to handle the $200k worth of equipment they’re are handing u. ","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"If your new like me, put your miles in and take notes, then you WILL see an increase in pay. If you put in your years, start researching other companies, but I would talk to the boss before walking. From what I understand, clean experience is what the good companies want and are willing to pay more for.","replyToPid":0}
599477 发表于 2019-06-27 21:12:25 The first check in any job is usually the worst. Hang in there and see if it settles out somewhere higher 😁
","text":"Yes, if you base it on your first check then maybe, 1. It’s your first job. 2. Didn’t drive much 3. Took all your benefit cost out 4. Don’t forget Uncle Sam gets his $$$ first","replyToPid":133229}
614393 发表于 2019-06-27 21:19:37 I never understood why rookies come in the industry thinking they're going to make top dollar you gotta crawl before you can walk

501175 发表于 2019-06-28 00:15:04 Starting off, no one will know how good of a driver you are until you show them. It's not about paying dues, you have to show them. Everyone wants the big miles when they start, but you will not get them off the bat. Drive hard. Be on time.. And when you get the BIG one...run the wheels off the truck and keep the left door shut!!! 10 hrs break? You should be getting it in at 10:01!! You have to prove yourself. By all means, keep asking for miles!!!

462372 发表于 2019-06-28 00:28:26 it's because you're new and you're a higher risk, so they take more out of your pay to cover potential expenses. everything works exactly like your credit score, the longer you go without having an incident, the more they can pay you without taking a loss.
","text":"Never heard that. Yes a new driver is a higher risk. They’re not taking money from checks because of it. New driver starts at a lower cpm ","replyToPid":133383}
","text":"no I'm not. just a company driver. if a new driver is a higher risk why hire them then? and don't give them chance to drive cuz the company may safe more money. don't u think so?","replyToPid":133460}
