{"replyTo":"","text":"Sounds good. I bet most of their trucks don’t look like that though. Most OEM carriers are day cabs..... (USAL, KEY, UNITED ROAD, etc)all depends on what and distance of your route. \nNot much I can help you with, it’s not what I do. I haul mostly POV (privately owned vehicles) auctions to dealers, lease turn ins. Brand new cars make me “nervous” the liability is so high on them. You will be loading at rail heads, manufacturers, sea ports maybe, then delivering to dealers. The day cab drivers are put in hotel rooms. \nThe money is there though, and full benefits it seems. I choose what I haul, when I haul it, where I haul it to, how long I stay home. Regularly , if not always unplug that pesky ELD. (Mine has never been turned on yet....while driving) Those are my benefits. You get uniforms.....I wear shorts, flip flops and tee shirts. (Yes...I know, real truckers don’t wear flip flops, c’ est la vie)","replyToPid":0} |
