How would u guys secure this load of flat steel? Chains and straps? Just chains or just straps? (5 bundles.... 48k lbs)

","text":"be careful out there! flatbed is a serious job; as is all trucking really; dont ever think your 100% safe just cause it worked before; dont think its 100% safe just cause whole bunch of people loaded it that way; and you know what; the reason i DO know so much is not cause im smarter than you; its cause ive had issues with loads over my life time and learned the hard way; or from seeing others screw it up on the sides if roads; or trying to fix their loads in truck stops; most times; less is more and i leave the shippers alone to do their thing; but you do have to make all loads touch each other; if there is gaps there has  to be wood in between, THEN  you chain it; you will see the chains squeeze the load together up against the wood blocks; then chain up straight on; dont need choking and wrapping and all them tricks and stunts; the load aint moving with a chain on the outside and the other load on the inside, or blocking  ","replyToPid":223872}
