Signal is so much better in the western us. So it mainly depends where you mainly run as to what provider you get. Take a look at coverage maps because it really does matter to us gamers.

You do not have to have your phone with them to get a hotspot. \n\nVerizon calls them jet pack. I have had 3 total now. 1st I got rid of because it was outdated. 2nd was slowing down speeds for some reason. The one I’m using now is even better with extra signal gain built in vs a phone. My phone will have 2-3 bars yet my jet pack would have full bars.
