","text":"I’m just trying to throwing some common sense here. and imo it should apply for company drivers, not owner operators. when a trucker is set to sleeper berth, technically they’re still working because they are protecting the company’s truck and the trailer load. people can sign up to these terms but it doesn’t mean they like it. \n\nIt just makes no sense that local jobs gets paid more and OTR gets paid less when it has much more responsibility. and like i said before, department of labor even says OTR truck drivers are getting paid unfairly.
