I hate being someone's slave just because I am new in trucking no matter how good I am doing this fools with companies pay pennies I never knew it. I run solo team drive I call it that because its way different from other teams The only different between me and actually solo driver is that I sleep in moving truck  other than that I get paid for my own miles instead of same rate for the total miles ran by the truck is there any advice I mean positive one on what should I do"}

505487 发表于 2019-04-14 20:45:34 In my experiences make sure you are being paid for all your miles called Actual miles, Not practical, Google, Or Air Miles, The company's that pay anything other than the actual Odometer miles is STEALING from you, They are not paying all your miles, So you will be driving free unpaid miles. There are alot of things your going to dislike about OTR trucking, But like another trucker said, Once you get paid it makes it all worth it. Negotiate time on the road and home time, Also ask if there truck is governed at a certain speed, I will not work for a company unless it's at least governed at 70 mph, Also try to run across from west coast to east coast, As the speed limits are higher and you can run more miles per day. There is to many things to try to explain, You will get experience out there, If your not sure ask....Hope this helps you out. Good luck

I gotta say when I'm towards the end of my shift I hate it but then after being home 2-3 weeks i miss it already, this life ain't for everyone but it's a good living. Like anything else it has its good days as it has its bad days but just embrace the suck and keep on trucking. ","replyToPid":0}
