The problem is that we cannot confirm that our universe was the result of an intelligent mind or even a “loving” being. Take for example, evolution. The system works, for sure, but it’s also a very cruel system when you think about. Many, many living beings (including us) must cause the death and suffering of other living beings in order to survive. The lion needs to chase down the gazelle and rip it apart to continue living. Whales need to consume thousands of fish to continue living. Do they really have a choice? It’s either they kill for food or they themselves end up dead and then become food for others. How is this system the product of an intelligent and loving God? If he was intelligent enough he would have come up with a way for all living beings to feed themselves without causing pain and suffering. We humans with our limited minds are very close to finally figuring out how to sustain our lives without causing death to any living beings. "}

You’re nuts, man, and you don’t even realize it. That’s the reason why the other members in this forum won’t even waste their time posting in your thread. It’s awkward and the thoughts of a man who’s slowly losing it. The only way you can prove you’re not going nuts is by providing solid evidence, but you got none. It’s all faith based.\n\nOn the positive side, there might still be hope for you. I too was a serious Christian believer when I was a teenager, although I will admit I always had my doubts. At the age of 20, I finally let go of these chains of religion, and thanks to a couple courses in Philosophy and Critical Thinking. I didn’t immediately let go of my beliefs, but I eventually did."}
