856097 发表于 2020-11-19 21:06:15 1st I’m a gun owner...but this is inaccurate:  his DEPUTY chief of staff is the one that ONCE discussed it while she was working not for Biden but Beto o’rourke, while Harris brought it up during her campaign she hasn’t since.  Biden has proposed a buyback program in the past however but it was for the rifles.  It wouldn’t be for all guns anyway it would only be for the assault rifles.  Without congress it’s a mute point the executive branch can’t force it.  Besides if the really wanted to do something they would go after bullets & their components.  The constitution says you have the right to keep and bear arms...it doesn’t say they can’t make it almost impossible to buy bullets.  Our right to guns has not been taken away in 250 years yet every time a democratic president comes into office there’s a big stink over it.  There should be some restrictions on guns...not everyone should have them, not every one should be available to the public...if we as a people would help to keep them out of the hands of people who abuse them we wouldn’t be in this position.
