{"replyTo":"","text":"This is a great way for trucking companies to pressure drivers into working longer even if they haven’t rested, just cause a log says they rested doesn’t prove anything.  If you want to make more money, get a pay raise, not work more.  If you’re unable to do your job in the long 14 hours, then you need to turn your CDL in.  15 years of driving and I’m off for about 14 hours everyday and has not affected my pay whatsoever, I still make about $75k/year as a company driver.  You’re supposed to be a professional, not some weak crap that can’t do their job in 14 hours.","replyToPid":0}

The extra 4 hours would give more time for food prep and showering than with the 10 hr. Have no trouble getting my work done in 14 hours but getting my personnel time needed in 10 I’m hard pressed for. ","replyToPid":0}

How do you get around that no ELD?\n\nUber and lyft have a 12 hour drive window with a six hour rest break before reset, for last 3 yrs now which I was pulling 16-19 hour days so that was an earner killer.","replyToPid":402309}

{"replyTo":"","text":"idk about this new hos.cause that 11hr clock is going to still count down regardless, rather you are on or off duty.. they should take away the 8hr clock an make it 10hr clock and instead of a 30 min break it should be a 1hr break.now that can give us more time and flexible, and it should never count against any clock, rather it takes shippers 4-6 or more just to unload or load and we'll as waiting to be put in a dock. ijs","replyToPid":0}
