That's also what a tax return is, that's taxes you paid over and they give it back to you as if it's a reward.\n\nI'll explain it to you once, if you over pay in fuel tax at the pump in one state, that money goes to pay the state you drove in that you didn't pay fuel tax. if the amount of taxes paid at the pump doesn't equal to the fuel burned in each state, you pay extra when you file your IFTA to make up the difference.\n\nthere is no offsetting to avoid paying fuel tax.\n\nidk what happened to acuseme, my guess is he found something more productive to do than to converse with a bunch of Neanderthals."}
