If you'll be running e-logs, most programs alert you to what you need to do and when as far as hours between breaks and the like. Just always take the time to plan your route and add time for unforeseen delays. And don't rely on what time any given mapping app may tell you on how far you maybe able to in x-amount of hours. Get out the good old paper atlas and compare the various routes so you have a backup plan. Remember that a lot of your truck stops on major routes fill up a little more early than on secondary highways, in other words, don't think \"oh I can make 650 miles today and stop at this place for my off duty hours\" it could be full, so think ahead and stop early if need be. It's easy once you get the hang of it. But please remember, don't always rely on the darn apps to get you around. Compare them to an actual truckers road atlas and give yourself some plans. Good luck ","text":"Always have a plan A, B and C! Thank you..","replyToPid":289360} |
