I haven't rejected any loads and haven't gone on vacay since I started.\nThey do take A LOT of money from the revenue I generate each week though. They tell you you get 72% of the load haul, but I HIGHLY doubt it. Their weekly statements are intentionally made the way they are to confuse drivers. Unless you really know where you've gone, what you've spent money on, etc., then they may \"bamboozle\" you.\nNow, my situation is most likely much different from yours. I live in my truck. \nWhen I decided to start driving, my lady and I decided to get rid of big unnecessary recurring expenses (Rent, gas & electric, car payments, insurance, etc). Outside of the truck related expenses that come out of my paycheck automatically, I pay for phone, mobile hotspot service, and food.\nA lot of people complain about Prime charging so much but from where I'm sitting at the moment, they do make things pretty convenient as well. Permits, EZ-pass, pre-pass, etc., are taken care of by them. I don't have to deal with any of it which makes it okay.\nI do think leasing outside of Prime would be the way to go though. Leasing through Prime basically means that you'll pay off the complete value of the truck and they'll get to sell it for even more profit or whatever it is they do.\nAll the people talking about how great their lease op company is cuz it pays like 90% of load haul, please share details. I've seen too many comments about how some drivers are doing so well cuz their companies only take like 10%, but they can never tell me which company they work for and what the requirements are.","replyToPid":0} |
