I bought a 98Freightliner Classic with a million miles on a Detroit knowing it needed an overhaul, drove it a year local before the engine blew, rebuilt it myself with certified Detroit parts and now have 275k on the rebuild. 340k in the truck since I bought it. I also put a clutch and transmission and drive axle and drive shaft in the truck. Actual cost per mile including tires diesel insurance and maintenance is about $.87 per mile. \n   I asked about a new Coronado and the salesman said that from what he has seen, I’m wasting my time trying to get the numbers that good on a new one ","replyToPid":277941}
