{"replyTo":"","text":"most likely the variances set in the cruse perameters are set  @ +/- a few kilometers per hour above and below the selected speed setings that means it wont throttle up untill it hits the bottom end and the jakes wont turn on untill it is over a certain speed usuall about 10 kilometers per hour ( factory settings in the ecm ) if you know someone withe the proper computer it is easy to change if not you have to take it in to a shop. i have changed mine from 10 to +/- 1","replyToPid":0}

But, best thing You can do is displace your weight properly @ 5th wheel and/or trailer slider holes. This way, the computer will allow truck to run without  protecting itself from over- speed or over torqueing.

If it’s an automatic your boss may have set the profile to Economy mode, which will sometimes shift into neutral and wait until you’re 2 mph under your set cruising speed then shift back into gear in an attempt to save fuel. If that’s the case you can just tap the gear stalk or the accelerator pedal and it will force it back into gear manually.
