They ruled it legal before it passed and many times since. ","text":"Well said man. It’s so annoying to me that the 14 hour rule even exists to begin with. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been getting loaded/unloaded and ran out of time on my 14 hour clock while I was sleeping for hours anyways waiting for my load.","replyToPid":402284}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Ok let’s put all this into perspective. It’s no secret that even tho the majority of all trucks on the road in the us are fleets of 5 trucks or less. Yes it’s true check facts even the large carriers with thousands of trucks are still a small portion of trucks on the road. Ok large companies have every safety device in the world on their trucks all new trucks elds yet they make up the majority of all commercial truck accidents. We are not robots that can just rest because a computer tells us it’s time it doesn’t work like that. I have been in business with a small fleet since 2006 as of date we have had zero Dot reportable accidents with older equipment. How you ask!! Because we run paper logs we are exempt from Elds and I tell all my drivers sleep when your tired if you get tired pull over take a power nap it works folks. Sometimes I can drive 14 hrs and be fine sometimes after 1 hr fully rested I’m dosing off it’s called being human. The only reason we have all the regs on hrs of service is because large companies are greedy and want small carriers to disappear so they have a monopoly. That’s why they have lobbyists spreading money to public officials to make these ignorant laws. Statistics show since elds accidents have gone up not down. ","replyToPid":0}

So far the only problem I can see is 34 hours restart and 70 hours 8 days rules, \nSo I think if FMCSA spends its time and money to fix this it will help all Americans Trucking industry to grow and to get more drivers back to business. \nMy solution is \n24 hours restart and 85-90 hours in 9 day’s  think about and let me know what is your opinion thanks all. we look forward to do business in any circumstances\n","replyToPid":0}
