{"replyTo":"","text":"First off, it doesnt really matter what I think. second, I think all of us truck drivers are underpaid for the amount of work most of us do. next, there are so many factors, I can not tell you what I think another driver should be making. I just met a guy last week who was making twenty five cents a mile. he approached me and asked if he could ask my opinion on a few things and if I thought that was fair. that's another story. anyways there is so many variables to decide what a driver makes. years of experience? tickets? accidents? doubles? triples? tanker? hazmat? twic card? home daily? company driver? o/o? the list goes on and on. so to answer your question what do I think he should be making? i have no faw king idea. i was only going strictly by appearance. and that's wrong because nowadays you never know. but he looks like a seasoned driver that has put a few years in. and if that statement is true, then he should be making alot more than eight hundred bucks a week. In my opinion. But you never know what another driver has or does not have. I consider myself a rookie. my uncle taught me to drive when I was seventeen. I came out of the gate runnin chasing money and I'll never stop chasing money and miles. sad life. But it's what I do. I say rookie. because in my opinion anyone with less than twenty years is a Rookie. I have the up most respect for the older drivers that have been doing this over twenty years. I learned in a cab over, over twenty years ago. but I've only been driving straight and solid for a little over ten years.","replyToPid":0} |
