What is the difference between off duty and sleeper berth hours.  \n\nThe Department of Transportation will ask a question and that question is when you stopped driving did you go straight to the sleeper berth.  And you and I know that we don't.  I prefer to show our are so as all duty using that time to take a shower or Enjoy a meal.  Upon returning to my drug I put myself in sleeper berth.\n\nThe opportunities that I have home time or time I way from the truck 10 hrs or more I put myself in off duty .","replyToPid":154343}

","text":"Depends on the software.   Some software recognizes 8/2 and 2/8 ( each is legal) some only recognizes 8/2. It’s been a year since I tested, so can’t comment on how good they might be today.  I can say KeepTruckin recognizes either option, but only after the fact.  You have to understand the rule or you can mess it up. ( I miss using Driver’s Daily Log)\n\nWhen I last tested them, FleetUp did not understand the 8/2, and PeopleNet required the intervention of the company compliance officer.","replyToPid":149871}
