The one automatic I've driven, the Volvo I shift, was nearly impossible to finesse into a tight spot without banging into the dock. I hear that some of the trucks have a \"creep\" mode for situations like this, but not this truck. I'm back in my 10 speed now.","replyToPid":0}

So this is not an issue. \n\nYou can also disable creep mode so that every time you release accelerator at slow speeds the truck depresses clutch. It allowed you to touch docks gently as you would by playing clutch with a manual transmission. And make it close to manual transmission while starting driving on ice. \n\nBtw D12 and I shift are automated transmission (not automatic) meaning they are a standard transmission with auto shifter and auto clutch unlike automatic transmissions that use hydraulic pressure.
