I lost my job overseas in the oil field and only knew one other thing I could do to make money was drive a truck. Like you my dad was a trucker when trucking was a free for all from the 70s to the early 90s. He made mistakes and mom left him. When I said I was going to buy a truck my mom and wife both tried to stand in my way and stop me. I now have 3 trucks running and now they both are behind me and support my business. Just get in it and if you don’t like it at least you can say you did it and will always have something to fall on when things are hard. \n\nGood luck on what ever path you take.
