I’m not complaining about reasonable noise such as apu’s, engines, etc. It’s perfectly reasonable to point out when someone’s entertainment is cranked up so loud beyond the decibel levels of an idling engine, apu, or reefer that it actually booms and rattled windows and wakes up the drivers beside them. {"replyTo":"","text":"Maybe a little of both, now that I think it over. Ideally it would be preferable for said driver to see discussions about their behavior and course correct. Not sure if they were ignoring the knock, or if they literally couldn’t hear it. But I also thought aside from calling the company they drove for, at the very least starting a discussion that would eventually snowball into other discussions that will branch out in regards to this type of topic, encouraging drivers who aren’t already thinking about to this kind of thing to begin to. To plant a seed and watch it grow, as it were. But after revisiting this, I may just end up deleting this post altogether, as it seems to be a magnet for apposing and borderline argumentative reactions, which unfortunately isn’t productive, and wasn’t my intention.
