The class is about 2-3 months full time but they’re very thorough. You won’t start to gain REAL experience until you get out on the road but they do a good job of teaching you PROPER fundamentals. Unlike many of these 2 week cdl mills the companies put newbies through. And they’re also the cheapest I found. $2,000 total cost of the class. ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"Roadmaster has a a few schools in FL. I know they can get you set up with hotel during your training. I think Werner has a big interest in this school. I know They will hire from that school. You are not obligated to go to Werner though. If you wanted to go somewhere else you can. You get about twice the time training, and spend about half as much. Last time I looked, it was about $2,600 at the public technical colleges.\nWhen hired, you're going to be overwhelmed with driving a big rig safely AND learning how to do the new job properly.
