{"replyTo":"","text":"Depends on why it froze. You set your brakes overnight and they won't release supposedly banging on the drum will sometimes get it to release. I have never gotten that to work and if you miss the drum and hit the brake shoe you will likely break the brake shoe.\n\nI've never had a air line freeze up but the only fix for that would be melting it. Finding WHERE the line is actually frozen would be a bear.","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"My brakes froze when I was doing my road test it was so cold. If it’s chambers a few smacks with a hammer will fix it. If it’s the line could mean you have bigger problem with your dryer. ","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Brake line anti-freeze works. So does rubbing alcohol. I’ve used it for years. I pour a very little bit into each line before I go into extreme cold weather. I never pull my trailer brakes either. Works great. \nThank you all for the positive input and feed back. I pray you all have a wonderful thanksgiving and God blesses you and yours. ","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"Some might find this crazy but if I know I'm about to shutdown for the night in the cold, I use slightly rougher brake application for maybe the last 30 minutes to give me just enough time for my brakes to not freeze especially during inclimate weather.","replyToPid":0}
{"replyTo":"","text":"back in the day we just put the transmission in gear and never set any brakes, can't do that anymore with all this wasted money on technology or if the truck has settled in place without rolling neutral worked as well","replyToPid":0}
