Train to chain up in good conditions before you get to chain up first time in darkness and winter conditions. Carry some basics tools with you. Get a microwave and coffee maker in your truck. Carry some cans or anything what you can heat up when you stuck in snow and ice. Good gloves. The list can be very long ;-) try to learn to back up.
