Expect to put down between 20 and 30,000 for the loan plus have an additional 5 to 10 for plates and bobtail insurance and any accessories you might want to add. Don’t buy a fleet truck due to they are poorly maintained and I wouldn’t buy from an owner op unless you know them due to the same issues plus they could be getting rid of the truck for breakdowns and repairs. \nThis is the route I am taking next month. Going to Peterbilt and ordering and Specing out my truck. If you’re going with a new truck don’t expect to get it quick due to there is a back order of all models and brands and you’ll have to wait for your truck to get built
