","text":"I have no problems if someone carries one in their truck, but I’m pretty sure it goes against the law and/or the trucking company policy. Also, some shippers and receivers will have signs that no guns are allowed. So they’ll probably be breaking some law. ","text":"I’m fortunate to not feel anxiety when walking at the truck stops or almost anywhere really. Maybe once a year I end up having to park in a place I deem unsafe, and I carry a small folding knife. That’s about it though. To clarify, the knife is for my safety, not the load.","replyToPid":425464}

","text":"I’m sorry for those drivers killed, but rarely do people get killed for no reason at all. There’s usually something that happens like getting in a verbal argument with a panhandler or pushing him out of the way. People need to exercise caution wherever they are because they don’t know people’s state of mind. Carrying a gun in your truck also wouldn’t really help these people, unless they actually carry the gun, which I highly doubt truckers do. ","replyToPid":425467}

","text":"I still think carrying guns on the road are unnecessary and may end up getting you in trouble one way or another. Just imagine getting involved in a gun fire with someone to then be thrown in jail for years because you violated a law in a particular state. You cannot get in that kind of trouble if you don’t carry a gun in your truck.","replyToPid":425471}
