For one, we have never ever met anyone more powerful than ourselves.\n\nYou cannot really prove the non-existence of something. You can just arrive at a probability. This holds true for Bigfoot, leprechauns, etc. Of course no sane person really believes in these things, nor do we need to disprove their existence. We know enough to say that it would be incredibly unlikely for these to be real. Ultimately, with claims of existence, we disregard them unless someone can prove them to be true.\n\nIt’s the nature of our world because we cannot fully disprove the existence of anything. We can only arrive at high probabilities. I don’t dismiss the god claim as impossible. It’s just nobody can prove in a clear and honest way that he’s really out there.
