I get stopped maybe 10% of the time, and it’s mostly just to check my weight.\n\nIf I get inspected, it’s almost always a level-3 inspection, which is pretty much checking your logs. I run legal.

","text":"I’ve only been hit once with a level 1 after 8 years of driving, and it was mostly my fault because I took an exit to a truck stop that had the “bypass scanners” placed right on the bridge of that exit. Meaning that if I took that exit, I could not use my bypass device! It just so happened that it was national inspection week, so I went into the weigh station like someone without a bypass device and got hit with a level 1. I did not pass, but at least I did not get an out of service violation.\n\nThere are only a handful of weigh stations with that same scenario where you do not want to exit there to a truck stop if the weigh station is open.","replyToPid":424437}
