Yes starting is hard and yes  you should have some $ to save up  get you up and going not to have trouble with 1st tire blowing up.  so cash out truck and min 10k$ in the bank .Start with lease on to good paying carrier who can provide you the registration, IFTA,insurance, blabla... and learn and safe $ as much as you can  to move all on your own.  Even though if all is ok why not to staying lease on and stay of the headache when is such uncertainty.  have friend he is fleet owner of 20 trucks lease with carrier and HAPPY GUY. Also know guy with all on their own with 5 trucks and to many headaches and hole in the pockets... the magic words...? KNOW YOURS NUMBERS!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK 👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲

It may be a hassle, but you still have to hustle to make the real money. Am with a good company that writes me good checks but I rather write my own.
