These trucking companies will push you to take unreasonable risks and they offer no incentive to do so. Protect yourself and tell them no and that you don’t feel safe driving and if they have a problem with that they can talk to your lawyer. It only takes a day or so for road crews to clean up the highway after a big storm. Most of the freight on the roadways is going to sit in a warehouse for a month somewhere. The only urgency is imaginary and only in the small minds of people who sit behind a computer all day, in most cases. My 2 cents. Be safe and look out for your best interests because no one else will.

Money runs are usually in the crap upredictable weather and regardless of experience if your a company driver your gonna be sent in that crap. \n\nThere are a greater majority that have no buisness being on runs like that, just like running Snoqualmie or the Rockies in the dead of winter. \n\nUmfortunely mega carriers don't care about driver ability, they only care that that truck is moving and the load is on time for the percentage based bonus they get. \n\nAdd that with a low paying loads, high operating costs, massive financial burden that some carriers carry.. this all adds up to, the LOAD is more important then a drivers life or those around that individual.  \n\nDrivers need to take accountability and know when to no run that truck or DEMAND  to get pulled off a load.. \n\nCheers!","replyToPid":0}
