If you don't have any control over yourself, I can understand why you would be opposed to it but fmcsa says it's ok so if I feel like it, i do. It's not like you are drinking to get plastered. Now if you are a company driver and they have a policy on it, I understand not doing it then either.","replyToPid":0}

You're still sleeping in the truck that's a part off your job and what you're doing is not responsible at all. 3 years ago a friend of mine works for the same company that I worked for and  He did the same stupid things you're doing drinking because hes on 10 hours break well guess what the next morning a deity officer not gone his door and a truck stop and asked him to do a DOT inspection so the officer smelled the alcohol breath so guess what happened he gave him a violation and the company fired my friend the driver and it's been 3 years he can not get a job. Which I think he deserved to be fired because hes not supposed to drink it doesn't matter of his own 10 hour break you're still sleeping in that truck and that's a part of your job you are responsible for your own safety and other safety. So just because you don't care about your own safety in your own life you should at least care about others people's safety and lives because when you're on the road you are responsible for their safety to so you either stop drinking or you should quit your job and go do something else that you can drink your life  Away.
