{"replyTo":" 497499 发表于 2019-11-08 18:16:57 Got ya. I misunderstood. You meant every time you park. Admittedly I don’t do that. I check it when coupling to a trailer. Maybe I should start but it’s probably going to be a hard habit to get into ","text":"In the beginning it was a bit more difficult to form the habit, but I’m super OCD when it comes to coupling. Now, I have a pattern I follow when I pretrip, so my driver side drive tires are the last ones I check... that puts me right next to my fifth wheel... so after thumping the tires, i just dip under my container to check the pin, push the handle to make sure it’s secure, hop in the truck, tug test, and head out. When I’m away from my truck though, I always dip under to check as I’m walking back to my tractor. Once you form the habit, it’ll just be like a reflex action. ","replyToPid":245311} |
