{"replyTo":"","text":"At least upgrade the 14 hr rule. And I was actually a better driver before eld because i didnt rush. I just did things on my own terms and because of it I loved the job. I dont like the fact that a tiny machine tells me when to take a break or take the 10 when it tells me to. Plenty of times..... 4 hours into sleeper and im still awake, because i wasn't sleepy enough. Thats the problem with machines, they dont know how you feel. Sad to say I've fallen out of love for it. 2 years or less and im done, will just move on to somethin else. if its working for others then great, more power to you and i mean that. 872280 发表于 2020-10-13 23:21:44 If you want us as professional drivers to stay under the current HOS then I agree with another driver who stated that the Shipper/Receivers need to be put under regulation or brought under control.  I sat at a Shipper/Receiver for 6 hours running me out of hours.  Then told me I had to leave the premises with no safe place to park within 50 miles.  Once they are under control then change the 70 hour rule because 70 hours in 8 days does not make much sense.  That is just my opinion and an example of what happened to me.

{"replyTo":"","text":"Exactly right. why is the driver the one getting fines for something they have no control over. \nFood warehouses are notorious for hours upon hours sitting and waiting to get to docks. Then sitting at the dock for hours. Shippers & receivers need to be held accountable.  If a driver is told to leave the property after sitting past their hours the place they left should be accountable too. \nWhat about our health? What about our safety? \nWhat about us?\nThe longest I ever sat at a dock was 22 hours.","replyToPid":0}
