{"replyTo":"","text":"dot has want black boxes in trucks since the early 80s . now we have them. trying to change the rules to fit them. just a thought why don't they go back to the old rules of 10 hrs drive 8 off. split hrs if you drive 5 take 5 off your good to go again. may save on parking and tired drivers that don't work 8 to 5  office hrs. we seemed to get along just fine then with paper that way. just a suggestion is all.","replyToPid":0}

","text":"Its a 7-3 split, not a 3-7, means after a full shift you only need to stop 7 hours instead of 10, you get some of your new shift, you can go to your pickup or delivery and while they load/unload you take the rest of the 10. I still think paper is the way to go. that's only my thought. yeah the 30-minute break should be taken out. I still think you should be able to split your time driving. and most of all we should be giving our rights back some of the things that absolutely need to be addressed. such is trying to squeeze out the little man. it's very hard you have to compete against companies who have 3000 trucks and 5000 trailers. just one man thought. thank you.","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"I think the rule has been a good addition to pause the 14hr if you take a 2+ hour break. It actually encourages stopping for rest rather than worrying about getting home before the 14hr is up.","replyToPid":0}
