{"replyTo":"","text":"I’m an owner operator with my own authority. Started 7 years ago. I own my trailer but lease my truck on a 4 year cycle. I lease the truck for 4 years with a 4 year extended warranty and an apu in the lease. Sure I pay a higher a truck payment but I never have repair costs aside from PM and tires and never have to idle (which cause a lot of breakdown in DEF/DPF system). With Mercedes Benz financial (loaner and lease of Freightliner and Western Star) the EW4 warranty extends everything including electrical. My last truck was a Freightliner Cascadia and my current truck is a WS 5700. I paid $2900/mo for the FL and $3200/mo for the WS. That seems high to most but keep in mind you have no repair costs and get a new truck every 4 years. To me and for my business it works well. Others may disagree with this model but I’ve been successfully for 7 years doing this and am very happy. ","replyToPid":0}
