new driver, need some advice...

{"replyTo":"","text":"it's good to be scared dont let anyone  else  ever tell you different!! the day your not afraid  of that tractor trailer  is the day you hang up the keys!! honestly though although you've got fear that something  will happen  there's still a reason you got in this job I  the first place slowing down for weather  conditions  is normal it'll take awhile  to be more comfortable  behind the wheel  the more you drive just tell yourself  everyday  that you are a strong confident person  and the rest will come to you good luck to you driver and stop worrying  about the other trucks passing  you you do you!!!!","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"The ramp speed is good because that is what we are supposed to do, but you can't go that slow on the interstate.  That is dangerous just as they want to govern all trucks to 65.  In time you will get your confidence and know what your truck can comfortably do.  Slowing in the rain is alright because of hydroplaning plus if it's coming down hard, you can prepare to stop.  These other drivers going that fast are the ones that give drivers a bad rep.  Do as you feel comfortable as long as it's safe and legal.  Hopefully soon you will be up driving your 65 mph in no time.  I have 18 years experience with no preventable accidents.  It's a big machine you are in control of and it's why we get paid to drive them safely.  ","replyToPid":0}

{"replyTo":"","text":"first things first.. posted ramp signs are designed for cars not loaded tractor trailers.. secondly.. when the other trucks pull that 5 wheel roll and lay over on their side.. you can cruise on by.. you can only go too fast once driver.. you can go as slow as you want so lo g as you meet highway minimums. to hell with what drivers say.. you do you... just dont become a hinderance to traffic you can get tickets for that.. and dont ever get comfortable thats when crazy shit happens... confidence and comfortable are too differant things.. dont be cocky though.. that one time you say I got this i been doing it for 20 years is the day you go home in a pine box..","replyToPid":0}
