There are some annoyances I have that need to be addressed by DOT, like they need to stop allowing companies to have the power to shorten or eliminate personal conveyance time, but it also helps keep truckers more honest. {"replyTo":"","text":"hey; you know what ; good for yall; be a nerd; use what YOU WANT; go work for a company that is like minded and uses ELD. dont need a LAW FOR EVERYTHING. you can use ELD , and look for a company that has ELD rules; just like some people only like peterbilts or only like a certain volvo style; and look for jobs at companies that use that particular equipment you like; dont need a government law for it; i can work at a company that does not have ELD or uses the equipment i prefer freightliner; dry ban; no new york city, ect.... yallllll are joke! i respectful, work like a whipped horse, got paid accordingly; i never once in 20 years ever worked or drove too tired or danger-level ; ELD or NOT; ive been dispatched on a turn around load ; and after had my reputation built at a company said NO; im tired and its not safe! im done; ill be back here tomommor sir; went home; th here was always a load waiting for me after my 10 ish or more hours home; i never got fired i did the work of 2 men since day one; every company has that upper tier workers; ive always been that; i never needed a ELD to say to my dispatcher i cant work; i never even had to say i dont have hours with paper logs! ive never worked and not got paid! but ive been cheated outa bought $6,000 in unpaid checks buts thats neither here nor there; my company driver pay was $1,000-$1,800 take home pay man back in the day! i didnt drink it away; alllll my company driver pay is now in my trucks and trailers that i own; there is money in trucking; thats like saying if a mom and pop restaurant goes outa business “oh, aint no money in restaurants” no there is money in trucking just not the way many yall doing it","replyToPid":0}

","text":"dont bothet brother mant wont understand what the paper log wad actualtlt fot that some people misued it thats a whole nother problem i run at 55 cent per mile and bring home 1740 to 2200 every week and i am just saving away for my equiptment even when i did paper log i only used it for the advantage infact it was bettee knowing i can get on the side of the road take a nap for however long and fix the time and keep on driving now on eld if i am tired i cant even think about pulling to the side because ill lose hours ill never getback","replyToPid":224085}
