We are in the only industry that prices go down for us but maintenance costs and everything else continue to rise. In the last 5 years trucking rates have remained flat or in some instances have declined! Why are people taking loads called backhauls at reduced rates? It the brokers robbing us DON’T PUT A LOAD ON YOUR TRAILER FOR LESS THAN 2 $ a mile I would say more 3$ but as a owner operator I no we all have bills but if we don’t get take a stand we are going to lose and be working for companies again,,The man,, and those working on percentages for companies if your not making at least 300$ a load protest taking it . ","text":"I don’t really agree with that I have seen 20 plus companies close there doors in past 3 month it brokers stealing double brokering loads some even triple I’m hauling a triple now but it pay 3$ a mile going 1000 mile, went through broker then a trucking company the the company I leased on with .
