Do flatbedders need their own ladder?

So far it has only been a massive annoyance because it covers the side of the box that holds his edge protectors, which we need pretty much all the time. Every shipper I’ve been to has those staircases on wheels which are much more stable, and I haven’t seen another flatbedder who has a ladder on the truck.
