","text":"The electric cars can be charged at home in the garage. They don’t have to hope everyone else in their panic leaves some gas for them. So since the EV has already had a full charge while at the house and they have 250+ mile ranges for the low end models, they’ll simply drive out of the path of the hurricane, hit another charger and wait. Maybe camp in their car since you can run the ac without having an engine on and still have 75-50% charge after a full night of AC minus hotel bill. Electricity isn’t a problem until after land fall. Fuel supply is a problem before and after landfall. ","replyToPid":197625}
