{"text":"Wanna see if someone can maybe explain this to me. \n\nSo I work for a big blue company as an OTR driver. I recently got a better job offer to be home everyday with 2 days off. I just happened to be really close to my home terminal so I wanted to see if I could just go ahead and turn my truck in. My fleet manager says, \"So you're not gonna give me a proper 2 weeks notice?\"\n\nOkay, for what though? Isn't a 2 week notice just a way for a job to get someone trained in your position before you leave? It's not like that's something that needs to be done as an OTR driver. Theres 9,000 other drivers in this company that can take loads. I told him I can do a week at best.\n\nIs there something I'm missing? Do they need a notice? Maybe they just wanna squeeze more loads out of me while they can?\n","videos":"[]","link":"{}","pics":"[]","canComment":true} |
