Tester said I did everything fine except I didn’t bring wheel chocks with me to the test and I’m supposed to have them on-hand to put in front of my tires BEFORE I even got inside of my vehicle to do safety checks??? I thought it was only supposed to be on an incline, and I may literally lose my job over this because I’ve been struggling to get test dates (I live in NE-PA and work in S-NY). Last test I took was a month ago and today was the earliest date I could get my hands on.\n\nWhat am I even going to do if I lose my job? The ground was flat and I didn’t need chocks in that instance, nor would I imagine even doing a brake test on an incline/decline tbh.\n\nIs there anything I can do? At all? I feel so powerless. I have bills to pay and I can’t do that if I end up going to retail. {"replyTo":"","text":"yes there is.... stop whining and own up to the mistake. just bc you don't see any grade doesn't mean it's not there. you are to be in control of 40 tons of vehicle, and a small mistake could easily cost an innocent life. that's why it's call SAFETY. So if your gonna cut corners just bc you as a new driver don't see the purpose, maybe this business not for you.\nhaving said all that- good luck keep trying bc if you take it seriously it's a beautiful career.","replyToPid":0}
