(But as a young driver back then I didn't know any better I thought that it was the way) plus it didn't matter if you were an owner operator or company driver. they ran each of us into the pavement. \nNow with the ELD. There are growing pains. but all Drivers post is there own bad experiences. let's see #1 I was 30 miles from the house and ran out of hours. I couldn't make it home. //// I call B S. on that one....  \n#2 I can't make any money using the ELD... \n//// Quit and find another Trucking company that pays better....\n#3 I run daylight hours only now I have to run different times including middle of the night.  //// I call B.S. on that also. \nLook the only thing that really changed is the trucking company can't run Drivers into the ground. \nRun your regular times. like you have always done. If you're not making any money then move on to another company that pays better. And the big one. 39 miles from home OOH. Dot Rules. use them to your advantage. SAFE HAVEN. ","text":"well let's say a trip on paper logs from NY to LA takes 7 days on average some cases 8 days but would take more then 11 days with elog. I'd rather hustle for 7 days. sit home for 7 and go out again than be on road constantly with 2 day breaks.","replyToPid":172012}
