{"replyTo":"","text":"You should log it as you do it... ex: your driving and arrive at a customer to load or unload, once stopped, change to on duty not driving, check in with the customer, get your door or dock assignment and return to your truck, once in the door/dock... go to off duty, unless your required to load/unload or count freight (anything you get payed to do) other wise your off duty/unpaid... this is an easy violation for officers to write with elogs cause most drivers aren’t logging on duty time, same goes for fueling... always show fueling as I duty or any other maintenance type items show some on duty time for! Also, make sure you know how to update the shipper and trailer numbers in your elog program, again it’s a form and manner violation, but all dings hurt when it comes to the DOT/FMCSA","replyToPid":0} |
